We opened the first Sauvage Urbain kitchenware outlet at Tuggeranong in Canberra in December of 2000. Since then we have opened other outlets in Fyshwick (2006), Majura Park (2015) and Woden (2018)
Our vision has been to find the world’s greatest brands in kitchenware and cookware and bring them to Canberra and offer them at prices which are competitive with anything else in Australia.
The Majura Park store was a new concept for Sauvage Urbain, targeting the hospitality industry and offering everything from beautiful tableware for restaurants and food preparation equipment for chefs, to disposables such as takeaway containers for cafes. With many offices in the area, we now find ourselves catering to a very large demand for everything needed to host small and large functions and events. The general public is very welcome 7 days a week at this store. If you would like a quote for your restaurant or cafe please contact us.
Partnerships
We proudly support many charities and initiatives in the ACT.
One of the key initiatives we support is Fresh Tastes. Fresh Tastes is a free ACT Government service that helps schools make healthy food and drinks a bigger part of everyday life for Canberra’s kids. We proudly provide cookware and cooking utensils to schools through this initiative.
